Herbert Voss

Lewiston, MNHerbert Voss, 88, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the Lewiston Villa in Lewiston. Herbert Henry William Voss was born April 18, 1916 in Nodine, MN to Henry and Louise (Schwartz) Voss. Herbert farmed with his father until 1948 when he moved into Lewiston where he worked for the city for many years. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sisters, Iva Wegman and Martha Voss both of Sioux Falls, SD; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Iona, Elma and Edna.Funeral services are planned for Monday, May 10, 2004 at 11:00am at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverends David A. Fischer and Michael Lindemann officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
