Winona, MNHenry Charles Garceau, 81, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at St. Anne's Extended Health Care in Winona, MN. Henry was born January 31, 1923 in Tauton, MA to Alford and Emma (Blaze) Garceau. He married Rosalyon Yuman on July 14, 1978 in Winona, MN. At the age of 12 Henry became blind and from 1936-1946 attended a school for the blind in Watertown, MA. Henry learned his independence and moved to California where he received training at a mechanics school. For many years he lived in California working at a garage repairing small engines and car motors. He came to Stockton in 1975. He had been a resident of St. Anne's for the past year.Survivors include his wife, Rosalyon; son, George (Maria) Garceau of Littleton, CO; daughter, Claudia O'Donnell of Sylmar, CA; step-son, Raymond (Deanna) Yuman of Winona, MN; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, George Garceau of Mansfield, TX; and two sisters, Terie Connell of Waverly, IA and Eleanor Deragon of Lakeville, MA. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Teddy, seven brothers and three sisters.Services will be a time for calling from 1-4pm Saturday, Jan. 29 at Hoff Funeral Homes ? Burke Winona Chapel where there will be a prayer service at 3:30pm. Following the calling time, Henry's body will be cremated and interment will take place at a later date at the Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles, MN.
