Helen Rusert

Goodview, Helen Rusert, 92, of Goodview and formerly of Lewiston died Wednesday morning Dec. 17th at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. Helen was born October 25, 1911 in Lewiston to Hugo and Mary (Prigge) Tews. She and Erwin Rusert were married January 25, 1934; they made their home in Lewiston. Erwin died November 20, 1948. Helen was a homemaker. She has lived with her daughter in Goodview since 1997. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewiston. Survivors include a daughter Mary Rusert of Goodview. In addition to her husband four sisters and a brother have died. Funeral services will be 11AM Friday at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Revs. David A. Fischer and Michael A. Lindemann officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday at Hoff Funeral Home ? Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
