Helen Jean Roberton, 85, of Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 surrounded by family. She was born on January 8, 1931 in St. Paul to Henry and Ruth (Raddatz) Holst. She was united in marriage to William Roberton on November 26, 1949 in St. Paul. Helen was employed with Camera Art for 30 years until her retirement. She also worked alongside her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston. Helen was a part of the Sunshine Club and the Fremont Circle. She enjoyed bowling, painting, going on trips with Bev and Al Nelder, taking care of others, and especially loved children. Helen is survived by her children, David (Cindy) Roberton of Winona, Gary (Sheila) Roberton of Rochester, Deb Krenzer of St. Charles, John (Sandy) Roberton of Winona, Tim Roberton of Lewiston, and Shari (Brian) Holm of Utica; grandchildren, Daniel (Lindsey) and Stephanie Roberton, Christina and Angela Misso, Zachary (Valerie) Roberton, Sarah and Megan Krenzer, Patricia, Johnny, and Rachel Roberton, Jennifer (Derek) Wimpfheimer, Tara (Jimmy) Palan, and Tim (Alicia) and Andy Holm; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, father and mother-in-law, William and Elsie Roberton; sisters, Faye (Dick) Schroenghamer and Dorothy Holst; brother-in-law, Tom Roberton; son-in-law, Bill Krenzer; and grandson, Ira Krenzer. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 10 at First Presbyterian Church of Utica with Reverend Tim Gerarden officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, December 9 at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Services, Lewiston, and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Fremont Scottish Cemetery.
