Helen Margaret Kingsley, 90 of Rushford and formerly of Money Creek, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home.
Helen was born April 14, 1928 in Rushford to Elmer and Evelyn (Braatz) Gielow. She was raised on Vinegar Hill and attended school through the 8th grade at Vinegar Hill and Money Creek. On November 30, 1946, she married Louis Kingsley. They farmed on Vinegar Hill until 1973 when they sold the farm and moved to Rushford. Helen cleaned the Rushford Clinic for many years and babysat many children - both jobs that she loved. She was a faithful member of Money Creek Methodist Church and active in the ladies' aide.
Helen enjoyed reading, canning, talking on the phone, listening to County Western music and her coffee. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren was always of the utmost importance to her.
She is survived by three sons, Roger (Mary), Ronald and Randy; son-in-law, Leon Helleland; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 36 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; brother, Karrol (Diane) Gielow; sister, Karen (Roger) Roth; and two sisters-in-law, Mavis Gielow and Jeanine Gielow.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; parents; children, Ed Kingsley, Cheryl Helleland, Rayce Kingsley and 2 infant daughters; grandson, Brandon Kingsley; great-granddaughter, Jamie Helleland; and brothers and sisters, Elton "Bud" Gielow, Arlene Orlikowski, Rosie Mundt, Richard Gielow and Ronald Gielow.
Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Money Creek Methodist Church with the Reverend James Strom officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until the time of the service.
