Helen Eileen Mahlum, 94, passed from this world into heaven on the evening of January 25, 2009, at St. Michaels' Lutheran Home in Fountain City, WI, surrounded by loving family members. Helen was born on an island near Buffalo City, WI, on May 20, 1914, to William and Laura (Hoffman) Robinson. Up until recent years, Helen lived on the family farm in Crystal Valley, Galesville, WI. Before retirement she worked for Gale Products for many years. Helen lived a long life and her endless love will always be remembered by family and friends. Survivors include her son, Ace Haney of Buffalo City, WI; sister, Carrie Stiller of Buffalo City, WI; grandchildren, Karen (Frank) Johnson, Carla Haney, Cindy Haney, Forrest Haney, Paula Haney, Shannon Dugan, John Henry Haney, Jodi Haney - Apodaca, Skylar (Mary) Browskowski, Lance Browskowski, Brandi (Daniel) Browskowski - Durow, and Esteban Haney Velica; many great and great great grandchildren; and daughters-in-law, Mary (Jimmy) Haney, and Bonnie (Joseph) Haney. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd Mahlum, sons, Jim Haney and Joseph Haney, daughter, Patricia Lou Haney, grandson, Kevin Haney, granddaughter, Rio Browskowski, sisters, Eleanor Busalacchi and Doris Robinson.A graveside service and celebration of Helen's life will be held this spring in Buffalo City.
