Hazelmae Hodge, 82, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at her home in Winona, MN. Hazelmae was born May 30, 1926, in Rushford, MN to Arthur and Bertha (Elstad) Bakken. She married Roy Peterson on December 6, 1948, in Iowa. He later died in 1988. Hazelmae married Floyd Hodge on December 19, 1992, in Winona, MN. Hazelmae was a cook for Winona State University for 15 years and at St. Mary's University for 7 years retiring in 1996. Hazelmae was a member of Central Lutheran Church in Winona. Hazelmae is lovingly remembered for her love of music and dancing.Survivors include her husband, Floyd; five children, Sandy (Mike) Walsh of Dallas, TX, Nila (Jim) Ouska of Minneapolis, MN, Marty (Debra) Peterson of Minneapolis, MN, Duane (Cheri) Peterson of Twin Bluffs, MN and Arthur Jones of San Francisco, CA; 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; two brothers, Amos (Marie) Bakken of Minneapolis, MN and Carrol (Phyllis Hatleli) Bakken of Rushford, MN; and step children, Tom (Cheryl) Hodge of Winona, MN, Gary Hodge of Rollingstone, MN, Ron (Michelle) Hodge of Pine Island, MN, Rich (Maggie) Hodge of Rochester, MN and Judy (Charles) Prather of Winona, MN . She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Roy, granddaughter, Stacy and great granddaughter, Taylor.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at 11:00am at Central Lutheran Church with the Reverend Michelle Rem officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
