WINONA, MINN. ? Hazelle E. Decker, 86, of Winona died on Saturday, July 8, 2006, at the Lake Winona Manor in Winona, Minn. Hazelle was born on July 22, 1919, in Elba Township, Minn. to Jacob and Maude (Waldron) Decker. She was raised on the family farm and moved to St. Charles with her parents in 1951. From 1945 until 1975, Hazelle worked as a retail clerk for various business' in St. Charles. In 1976 she moved to Bella Vista, Ark. where she lived until 1998, when she moved to Winona. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Winona, was a former member of the St. Charles United Methodist Church as well as the Bella Vista United Methodist Church. Hazelle was also a member of the AARP and a charter member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed traveling, with a special highlight of her travels being a trip to Europe. While in Europe, Hazelle enjoyed visiting Luxemburg, where her ancestors where from. She is survived by three brothers: John (Irene) Decker of St. Charles, Minn., Stanley Decker of Kasson, Minn., and Norman (Janette) Decker of Winona, Minn.; and by many nieces and nephews. Hazelle was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister-in-law, Mildred Decker (wife of Stanley). The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Charles United Methodist Church in St. Charles, Minn. with the Rev. Rick King officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Hoff Funeral Homes ?
