Winona, MNHazel K. Sackreiter, 92, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at St. Anne of Winona in Winona, MN. Hazel was born March 17, 1912 in Elba Township, MN to Henry and Amelia (Baab) Kobler. On November 26, 1955 she married Willard Sackreiter in Nashua, IA. After attending 10 years of school in the Altura area, Hazel went to work in Winona providing housekeeping several families for 12 years. She then worked for the Winona Hotel for 21 years serving as a waitress and hostess. After working for the Winona Hotel Hazel provided home-care nursing for 5 years. Hazel was a member of Our Savoir Moravian Church in Altura, MN where she was a member of the Miriam Circle. Hazel enjoyed gardening, her flowers and traveling.Survivors include three nephews, Earl (Darlene) Stephen of Rochester, MN, Gerald (Dolores) Stephen of Altura, MN and Melvin (Margie) Stephen of Rochester, MN; niece, Betty Lou (David) Lovlien of Altura, MN; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and God-daughter, Stephanie Lovlien Kirkey of Trempealeau , WI.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willard on June 27, 1986, brother, Clyde and sister, Inez.Funeral services are planned for Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 11:00am at Our Savoir Moravian Church in Altura with the Reverend Maggie Wellert officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Homes ?
