Harold V. Agrimson

Harold Vernon Agrimson, 78, died Friday, July 27, 2007, at his home in Rushford, MN. Harold was born January 24, 1929 in Sebeka, MN to Bertinius and Agnes (Swiggum) Agrimson. He married Harriet Brostrom in Lake City, MN on March 29, 1952. Harold farmed south of Utica, MN for 20 years and then moved on to poultry sales and service. He lived in Peterson, MN for 32 years and had been living in Rushford for the past 4 years. Harold loved Jesus. He considered it "top priority" to share the truth of God's word with his family and others. Year after year he would make a way for his children, grandchildren and their friends to go with to bible camp. Harold was a member of Root River Community Church where he served as an Elder. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved to travel with his wife, go fishing, put together puzzles, cheer on his grandchildren at their sports events, play scrabble and visit with friends.Survivors include his wife, Harriet; five children, Lavonne (Dale) Hegland of Glencoe, MN, Duane (Shirley) Agrimson of Peterson, MN, Glenn (Wendy) Agrimson of Peterson, MN, Dale (Pam) Agrimson of New Richland, MN and Mike (Kristi) Agrimson of Peterson, MN; 24 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Joel (Kitty) Agrimson of Edin Prairie, MN; and sisters ? in ? law, Jewell Agrimson of Webster, MN, Margaret Agrimson of Burnsville, MN and Jean Agrimson of Utica, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Justin, great granddaughter, Lauryn, great grandson, Benjamin and four brothers, Arden, David, Cyrus and Orville.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at 2:00pm, at Root River Community Church with pastor Peter Enns officiating. Burial will be in the Arendahl Cemetery. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Homes ? Rushford Chapel on Monday from 4-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
