Harley Donald Walters, 58 of Winona, was called home to Jesus on Monday, December 28, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.Harley was born May 16, 1957 in Winona to William and Inez (Fabian) Walters. He graduated from Winona High School in 1975. On February 26, 1977 he married Judy Hodge. They had two children together, Kimberly and Roth and later divorced. Harley worked for many years at Bay State Milling, drove milk truck and more recently drove Taxi in Winona, a job he loved.Harley attended Pleasant Valley Church and really enjoyed it. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, going for a "cruise", listening to the Minnesota Twins, watching the Minnesota Vikings and raising his many precious dogs throughout the years. His family was of the utmost importance to him; he never missed a family gathering and treasured every minute spent with his grandchildren.He is survived by his children, Kimberly (Rick) Wicka of Winona and Roth Walters of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Spencer, Journey, Abigail and Allison; two brothers, Van (Gloria) Walters and Dannie (Patty) Walters; one sister, Connie (Bob) Woolley; brother-in-law, Dennis Albrecht; nieces and nephews, Rick Walters, Garren Walters, Dion Walters, Jamie Walters, Amy Thurley, Stephanie Albrecht, Amber Albrecht, Jessica Walters, Joe Walters, Jonathan Walters, Angela Woolley, Katie Skog, and Christine Woolley; and by his best friend, Gerry Wos.Harley was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Beverly Albrecht and Linda Lou Walters; and a great-nephew, Jeremy Walters.Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2015 at Central Lutheran Church with the Reverend Wade Davick officiating. Visitation will be 9 a.m., until the time of the service.
