Grace M. Heublein

RUSHFORD, MINN. ? Grace M. Heublein, 80, of Rushford, Minn. died on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Rushford. Grace was born on December 18, 1926, to Roy and Ruby (Lampman) Otis in Rushford. She was raised in Rushford and graduated from Rushford High School in 1944. She married Henry B. Heublein on June 10, 1945. Henry died on Nov. 26, 1984. Grace and Henry farmed in the Fremont area all of their married lives. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rushford. Grace was the originator of the Echo Ridge Pioneer's 4-H Club where she received many leader awards and was the key leader for over 30 years. She was a member of the Ladies Night Out Homemakers Club for many years. She drove Head Start Bus for SEMCAC for several years. In 1986 Grace was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Her faith never wavered through her illness. She was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Grace is survived by a son, David (Jennifer Pospichal) Heublein of Lewiston, Minn.; daughter, Margaret "Peggy" (Chester "Casey") Swenson of Albert Lea, Minn.; two grandsons: Matthew (Theresa Tate) Swenson and Philip (Dana) Swenson; three granddaughters: Heather (Josh) Rucker, Angela Pospichal-Heublein and Amy Pospichal-Heublein; three great-grandchildren: Colton, Carson and Cooper Rucker; one brother, Byron (Elsie) Otis of Belvedere, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Orley Rasmuson of Milwaukee, Wis.; and by several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Lillian Rasmuson and Virginia Garnes, brother, James Otis and a grandson, Michael Heublein. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, at the First Presbyterian Church in Rushford with the Rev. Tim Gerarden officiating. Burial will be in the Frank Hill Cemetery in Wilson, Minn. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, at Hoff Funeral Homes ?
