Lewiston, Gordon F. "Gordy" Henry, 84, of Lewiston died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Lewiston Villa. Gordy was born June 19, 1928 in Saratoga Township to Fred G. and Edna C. (Dyar) Henry. He and Ruth Manzow were married August 15th, 1950. They later divorced. Gordy married Lillian "Lilly" Miller on February 3, 1960. He worked as a truck driver and as a mechanic for various employers in the area. Gordy was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Lewiston. For more than 20 years he was a volunteer fireman for the Lewiston Fire Department. He also belonged to the Evergreen Masonic Lodge #46 of Clyde. Survivors include his wife Lilly, five children Mary Ann Mills of Stewartville, Janis (Barry) Olsen of Raleigh, NC, Nancy (Gene) Woxland of Altura, Robert Henry of Jacksonville, FL and Dale Henry of St. Charles, 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a sister Barbara Nisbit of Lewiston. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Nicole Mills ,a sister Dorothy Solie, son-in-law Everett Mills and two nephews Jim Solie and Kevin Nisbit. A Funeral Mass for Gordy will be at 10:30 AM Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Lewiston with the Reverend Tim Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Scotch Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Sunday at Hoff Funeral Service in Lewiston. They may also call one hour before services at the church on Monday. The Lewiston Volunteer Fire Department will be recite the Firemans Prayer, followed by Vigil Prayers at 7:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
