Gloria Lembke

Gloria R. Lembke (Niemczyski), 96

Gloria Lembke, age 96, was reunited with loved ones on Nov. 30.

Gloria was born and lived most of her life in Milwaukee, WI, moving to Minn. with her daughter eight years ago. She is survived by her daughters: Gail Lembke (Vic Menebroeker), Karen Hill (Daniel) and son James Lembke; grandchildren Dustin Hill, Emerson Lembke, Matthew Hill, Eric Lembke and Aubrey Ferguson; great grandchildren Christopher, Aiyana, and Quin, cherished niece Patty (Jim) Parulski, and nephews Richard (Terri) Neals and Phillip (Jackie) Marks.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband John C. Lembke and her daughter Jean Marie, brother August and sister-in-law LaVerne Niemczyski and sister Dorothy and brother-in-law John Marks.

Throughout her life she collected, bought and sold, interesting things beginning when she was 16. Many beautiful items passed through her hands. She loved to play cards, golf, bowl and later in life go to casinos.

She was blessed with many good neighbors in the Wedgewood Park neighborhood where she lived for 55 years in a house the family found extremely comfortable, and also by a wonderful family, the Voelkels who adopted her as their grandparent and gave her many happy hours.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date in Milwaukee.
