Jerry Henry of Dover The funeral of Geraldine Leone Henry of Dover will be 11AM Wednesday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service in St. Charles with the Rev. Carol L. Shafter of Seasons Hospice officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Dover. She died Saturday January 30, 2010 of a prolonged aneurism at the Season's Hospice in Rochester.Jerry was born on March 15, 1923 in Plainview. She married Lincoln Henry of Dover on June 9, 1945, and resided in the Dover area where they farmed for 40 years. She was a member of the Dover Methodist Church, Plainview American Legion, the Order of the Eastern Star and was active in the community as a member of the Dover City Council. She organized the funding of the park shelter in Dover in memory of her son Jay B. Jerry worked at the St. Charles Greenhouse, called bingo at the Moose Club, sold jewelry at Dayton's, and delivered meals on wheels. Her varied interests included; bridge, bowling, antiques, dancing, reading and trips to Red Wing and Florida. Jerry is survived by husband Lincoln of Dover, sister Joyce (Joe) Markus of Plainview, son, Jeff (Kathleen) Henry of Stillwater, daughters Jane (David) Ihrke of Owatonna, and Jennifer (Mark-Bruno) Brannan of Kasson, eight grandchildren, Mike, Tarra, Jessica, Justin, Miles, Mika, Ben, Trista, and eight great grandchildren, Brady, Paige, Tyler, Taytum, Jace, Aza, Ryan, McKenzie and Martin, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents James "Bill" and Pearl DePuy, and three sons; Jack, Jay B. and infant Michael.Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the new Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service on Hwy 14 west in St. Charles.
