Georgia M. Holtegaard, 93, of St. Charles died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles. Georgia was born October 15, 1925 in Rochester to Sam and Hazel (Bradish) Felt. Georgia and Arville B. Holtegaard were married June 9, 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. The couple farmed near Utica until moving to Elgin in 1961. They later retired from farming and moved to Lewiston. Later moving to St. Charles. Georgia worked for camera Art of Lewiston and Telex Communication of Rochester. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles. Her family was her life.
Survivors include her three children; Loni (Allan) Thompson of Lewiston, Arvin (Becky) Holtegaard and Jerry Holtegaard (Tammy Stolberg) both of Dover, four grandchildren; Tracy (Charles) Hall, Mike (Diane) Thompson, Elyse (Jeff) Mueller, Amber (Lucas) Mark, and Mike Holzer husband of deceased granddaughter Lori Holzer, 8 great-grandchildren; Haylee (Scott) Pagenkopf, Brady (Amanda) Bartelson, Taylor Bartelson (Ashley Pomeroy), Tori Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Justin Mueller, Caleb Mueller, Ashley (Benny Roth - fiance) Holzer, three great-great-grandchildren; Khaleesi Pagenkopf, Nathan Bartelson and Nora Bartelson, two step grandchildren, Tammie (Steve) and Nicole Long, six step great-grandchildren; Carson, Shelbie, McKahl, Evan, Kourtnie and Kyra, seven step great-great-grandchildren; Landen, Claire, Hailey, Lauryn, Kayden, Odin and Lincon. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Arville on November 28, 2003, a granddaughter Lori Holzer, daughter-in-law Cheryl Holtegaard, step great-great-grandson Seth and siblings, Hilda Felt, Dora Reynolds, Loren Felt, Olive Holtegaard, Cora Brackenbury and Robert Felt.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hoff Funeral Service in St. Charles with the Reverend Waldermar Geis of faith Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
