WINONAGenevieve Anna Larson, 92 of Winona, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Saint Anne Extended Healthcare surrounded by family.Genevieve was born September 6, 1922 in Houston, MN to Norman and Florence (Holliday) Orr. Her parents divorced at an early age and Genevieve was raised by her grandparents, Eugene and Estelle Orr on their farm near Houston. When she was 18 years old, Genevieve was married to Howard Larson on May 18, 1941 in Peterson. They lived in Lanesboro before moving to Winona in 1942. Genevieve was a homemaker and loved her flower and vegetable gardens. Genevieve rarely missed an episode of Young and the Restless since its debut. She also enjoyed embroidery, ceramics, cross stitch, and latch hook. She is survived by her daughters, Leona Konkel of Winona, Norma (Russell) Thorn of Winona, and Patricia Woyczik of Minnesota City; grandchildren, Douglas (Tina Gilow) Rinn of Winona, Scott (Brenda Eyreaus) Rinn of Winona, Sheri (Randy) Zeller of Lewiston, Tanya (Rick Hoffman) Williams of Houston, MN, Jeff (Alissa) Smith of Merifield, WI, Kimberly (Darrin) Mohan of Whitehall, WI, Jason (Melanie) Baures of Slayton, MN, Chad (Jennifer) Woyczik of Winona, Dawn (Terry) Gile of Rollingstone, and Adam (Lindsey) Woyczik of Winona; 6 step-grandchildren; 18 step great-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; half-sister, Bernita (Jerome) Glenna of Kasson; half-brothers, Dale (Joyce) Northrup of Winona and Roger (Rita) Northrup of OK; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Orr of Winona; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives.Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Donald Orr; 7 half-brothers; 1 half-sister; and son-in-law, Daniel Woyczik.Visitation will be 4-7pm, Friday, February 13, 2015 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview. Funeral service will be 10am, Saturday, February 14 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 328 East Broadway Street in Winona, with visitation one hour prior. Reverend Richard Moore will officiate.
