Gary Joseph Howell

WINONA, MINN. - Gary Joseph Howell, 51, passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. Gary was born on September 10, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wis. to Harley and Vivian Howell. Throughout the years he worked as a journeyman carpenter. He owned and operated the Green Rail Billiard Hall and was also a member of the Rochester Carpenter's Union. In his free time he enjoyed riding motorcycle and playing pool. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Gary is survived by his daughter, Casi Howell, who was his pride and joy; one son, Mike Howell; his father, Harley Howell, Sr.; two brothers: Harley (Sally) Howell Jr. and Terry (Chris) Howell, All of Winona, Minn. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Vivian. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, at Hoff Funeral Homes - Burke Winona Chapel with funeral celebrant John Wagonaar officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona.
