Gary D. Huntbatch, 64, died Monday, August 25, 2008, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital in Winona, MN. Gary was born December 29, 1943, in Hampton, IA, to Edward and Zella (Rucker) Huntbatch. He married Kay Hall on October 1, 1966 in Crystal Lake, IL. Gary had worked in Minneapolis, MN, for Land of Lakes Creamery Inc. and had worked as an Assistant Traffic Manager. In Winona he had worked at Hiawatha Produce and Kujak Trucking where he was a general manager, owned and operated his own trucking company, CRX Trucking, and most recently had been working for Land America as a tax researcher. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winona and the Elks Club in Goodview. Gary was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan, who loved spending time with his grandchildren, having cook outs, and taking trips up north. Gary is survived by his wife, Kay; son John (Janelle) of Ely, MN; daughter, Andrea (Rob) Monk of Minnesota City, MN; grandchildren, Jordan and Jace Huntbatch and Lleyton and Logan Monk. He was preceded in death parents and an infant sister.Funeral services are planned for Friday, August 29, 2008, at 11:00am at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel with the Reverend Larry Green officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, August 30th, in Lindenwood Cemetery in Geneva, IA. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 5-8:00pm and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
