Lewiston, MN Garth L. Crouch, 54, of St. Charles, MN, formerly of West Concord, MN died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Lewiston Villa Nursing Home in Lewiston, MN. Garth was born on March 13, 1952 in Faribault, MN to Harlie and Bernice (Holtan) Crouch. He graduated from West Concord High School in 1970. After attending school in Crookston, MN for a year, he returned to work on the family farm. On July 24, 1976 Garth married Connie Butterfield at the First Baptist Church in West Concord, MN. In 1984, he had brain surgery and radiation which led to deteriorating health. He and his wife farmed together until 1993. In 1994, the family relocated to St. Charles, MN. Over the next nine years he held various positions with Riverside Electronics, Tuohy Furniture, Amish Market, and Jonathan's Restaurant. Garth enjoyed working with the Winona County Fair for several years. He also enjoyed watching television, woodworking, and scavenging. In 2003 a series of strokes led to his admittance to the Lewiston Villa. In 2007, Garth would have been a grandpa twice. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Connie; four daughters, Jennifer (Wil) Clark of Dallas, TX, Naomi (Stephan) Fulgham of Dallas, TX, Erin (David) Adamson of Richmond, VA, and Aleisha Crouch of St. Charles, MN; one son, Seth Crouch of St. Charles, MN; his mother, Bernice Crouch of West Concord, MN; two sisters, Elizabeth (David) Van Burkleo of Ham Lake, MN and Kathy (Steve) O'Connor of Grinnell, IA. He was preceded in death by his father, Harlie Crouch. A memorial service for Garth will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Living Light Church in Winona, MN with the Reverend Sonny Misar officiating.
