Frank V. Michalowski

Frank "Wincy" V. Michalowski, 60, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. Wincy was born October 17, 1948, in Winona to Frank and Dona (Leathers) Michalowski. Wincy attended Winona Senior High School and had worked at Winona Manufacturing. Wincy spent many years working at ORC prior to his disability following a liver transplant. Wincy was an avid Minnesota Twins fan, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, had a great sense of humor and became a friend to everyone he met. Survivors include his greatest friend, Carol Beck; brother, Tim Michalowski of Winona, MN; sister, Marty (Mick) Tofstad of Rockland, WI, nephews, Ron (Allycon) Michalowski, Mitchel (Marinita) Tofstad and Timmy Michalowski; nieces, Kathy (Rob) Curran, Jamie Michalowski and Jenny (Jason) Frenczak; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother, Don, and nephew, Danny Michalowski.Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9th, at 2:00pm, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel with the Reverend Richard Colletti officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona.
