Francine Alvira Lipinski, 63, died Sunday, January 8, 2006, at Community Memorial Hospital in Winona, after a battle with brain cancer. She was born on June 4, 1942, in Rollingstone, MN to Wilfred and Marcella (Hengel) Rivers. Francine married Andrew "Sonny" Lipinski on June 25, 1966 in Winona, MN. He preceded her in death in 1992. Francine attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and Winona Secretarial School. She worked for the Office of the Chancery in La Crosse, WI, the Winona Police Department, Rollingstone Post Office, was owner of Fran's Yarn & Crafts, and was currently employed at Hal Leonard Corporation in Winona, MN. Fran was a member of Elks Lodge 327 in Winona. Survivors include one son, James at home; three daughters, Jeri (Troy) Brugger of Rollingstone, MN, Tricia (Blake) Parrish of Apple Valley, MN, and Nancy (Jerry) Skroch of Fountain City, WI; mother, Marcella; one brother, Bro. Mike Rivers of St. Paul, MN; and four sisters, Bets (Ron) Rumpel of Arcadia, WI, Toni Rivers, Mary (Gary) Stoos, and Jodi Rivers all of Rollingstone; ten grandchildren, Dillon, Amber, Brooke, and Jenna Brugger, Brett Ties, Carter Weidemann, and Ellie Parrish, Evan, Tiffani, and Melani Skroch; brother-in-law, Jack (Debbie) Lipinski of Winona, MN; sister-in-law, Carol Hengel of Bloomington, MN. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred; her husband, Sonny; brother, Tom; brother-in-law, Chuck Hengel, Sr.; sister-in-law, Susan Pampuch.
