Utica, Eujenie "Jeannie" Louise Hauck, 53, of rural Utica died Sunday morning November 7, 2004 at Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles. She was born September 2, 1951 in Richland Center, WI to Edward and Teresa (Gribnau) Hauck. Jeannie moved to Millville with her family in 1957. She attended Breman School and Elgin High School. She later attended Mankato State University where she studied accounting. Jeannie worked for The Little Dutch Mill in Rochester for two years. She later worked in Lake City before working for Schleicher Carpet in Millville. She has worked at Knitcraft in Winona for the past nine years. Jeannie had served as Treasurer of the Women Catholic Council of St. Clements Parish in Hammond, MN for several years. She is a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles. She was active in Catholic Daughters and currently served as Color Guard chairman and a Spiritual Advisor co-chair. Jeannie enjoyed flower gardening and animals, especially cats and birds. Survivors include her parents, Ed and Teresa, at home, three sisters, Susan (Ross) Valdez of Greeley, CO; Janet (Jay) Frandrup of Hastings; Carol (Brad) Anderson of Melrose, WI, four brothers David Hauck at home; Richard (Lynn) Hauck of St. Paul; Andrew Hauck of Oakdale, MN and Daniel Hauck at home. Her sister Diane and her grandparents preceded her in death. There will be a Funeral Mass at 11AM Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Rev. James Callahan officiating. Burial will be in St. Clements Cemetery at Hammond. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Wednesday and 9:30 ? 10:30 AM Thursday at Hoff Funeral Home's ? St. Charles Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 4:30 PM and a Prayer Service will be at 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
