Ethel R. Kindt

Ethel "Tudy" R. Kindt, 95, died, Friday, October 20, 2006, at Sauer Memorial Home in Winona, MN. Tudy was born March 13, 1911 in Winona, MN to Robert and Ann (Kloetzke) Kratz. She married Edward Kindt in 1932 in Winona, MN and together they owned and operated the Kindt Grocery Store for many years. Ed preceded her in death in 1980. Tudy was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn (Gerald) Dotterwick of Altura, MN; grandsons, Brian (Nancy) Dotterwick of Elba, MN, and Fred Dotterwick of Del Nort, CO; two great granddaughters, Heather and Shannon; many nieces and nephews; and close friend, Richard Schifsky of Arden Hills, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Edward Jr.Funeral services are planned for Monday, October 23, 2006, at 2:00pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview, MN with the Rev. Paul Welke officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona, MN. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
