Emma Susan Milbrandt

Watertown, WI Emma Susannah Milbrandt, 96, of Watertown, WI and formerly of Winona died Saturday February 5, 2005 at Watertown Memorial Hospital. Emma was born January 6, 1909 in Norton Township of Winona County to Joseph and Emma (Strehlow) Schwager. She and Arthur Edward Milbrandt were married on September 1, 1932 in Bethany, MN. They lived in Altura, Plainview, Rushford and Winona. Arthur died December 17, 1985. Emma moved to Marquardt Retirement Village at Watertown in 1992. She was a member of Our Savior's Moravian Church of Altura. Survivors include two sons, David (Marjorie) Milbrandt of Hilton Head, SC and Tenold P. Milbrandt of Winona, five grandchildren, Justin D. Milbrandt of Dubuque, IA; Sarah Milbrandt Day of Bloomington, IL; Amy Milbrandt Manucy of Charleston, SC; David Milbrandt and Jane Milbrandt both of Hilton Head, SC, four great grandchildren, Mitchell and Stephanie Day, both of Bloomington, IL, and Marjorie McEllyn and Emma Susannah Manucy, both of Charleston, SC. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister Amanda Wesenberg and six brothers, Alois, Eli, Oliver, Lewis, Elmer and Joseph Schwager. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday February 22nd at Our Savior's Moravian Church in Altura, with the Rev. David Sobeck officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Moravian Cemetery.
