HOFF FUNERAL HOMES - RUSHFORD CHAPEL 507-864-7771 HARMONY, MINN. - Elna Mae Thompson, 79, of Harmony died on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Harmony Healthcare Center in Harmony, Minn. Elna Mae was born on June 12, 1929, in Peterson, Minn. to Edward and Emelia (Evenson) Thompson. She was raised in Peterson and attended Peterson Schools through the eighth grade. She lived with her parents until they passed away in the late 1970's. Elna Mae then moved to the Sunshine Place Home in Harmony where she lived for ten years. Following that she lived in the Adult Foster Care Home of Karen Morris in Harmony. She lived there for twenty years. Elna Mae lived this past year at the Harmony Healthcare Center. She was a member of the Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony. Elna Mae is survived by a daughter, Rosemary (Robert) Mickelson of Whalan, Minn.; a grandson, Reid Mickelson of Whalan; one sister: Janet (Skipper) Rislove of Rushford, Minn.; and by her adult foster family in Harmony. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008, at the Greenfield Lutheran Church in Harmony with the Rev. Robert Storskopf officiating. Burial will be in the West Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Peterson, Minn. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
