Elda Louise Ann Luehmann, 97, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Lake Minnetonka Shores in Spring Park, MN. Elda was born July 5, 1914, to the Reverend Rudolph and Estelle (Schroeder) Korn, in Renville, MN. Elda graduated from Lewiston High School in 1932. She also graduated from Winona State College and taught elementary school at Golden Hill School in Rochester and at Stockton. She married Edgar A. Luehmann on June 16, 1940, at St. John Lutheran Church in Lewiston, MN. Elda and her husband Edgar owned and operated Luehmann Implement in St. Charles for many years along with his brother, Willard and wife, Betty. Elda was an active member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and Bible study. She is lovingly remembered for her joy of flower gardening. Elda had been a resident of Lake Minnetonka Shores in Spring Park, MN, for the past 12 years.Survivors include her two sons; Allan (Mary) of Spring Park, MN, and Bruce (Pam) of Cedar Falls, IA; two daughters, Charlotte (Doug) Furst of Rothschild, WI, and Nancy (Tim) Reilley of Grand Rapids, MN; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Kelly of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar; brother, Ken and two infant brothers; and sisters, Lucille and Carol. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14th, at 11:00am, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in St. Charles, MN. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - St. Charles from 5-7:30pm and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
