Edward Walter Squires, 86 of Buffalo City, died Sunday, February 3, 2013.Edward was born October 3, 1926 in Winona to Walter Edward & Eleanor (Chuchna) Squires. On April 16, 1955 he was united in marriage to Joan Fix. He served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1943 - 1945. Edward worked as a lockmaster, most recently at Lock 6 in Trempealeau. He loved to tell stories, talk, hunt and fish.He is survived by his wife, Joan; two sons, Terry (Carolyn) of Buffalo City and Walter (Sherry) of Wisconsin Rapids; three grandchildren, Shawn Squires, Shara (George) Fuller and Lance Squires. Edward is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, led by Funeral Celebrant, Jenny Hoff. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until the time of the service.
