WINONA, MINN. - Edna E. Campbell Williams, 91, of Winona, died Friday, January 27, 2006, at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1914, in Hart Township of Winona County to John and Anna Dionsysious. Edna was raised in Winona where she attended school. She married Archie Campbell in Winona in 1934. Archie died on Nov. 15, 1958. She married Charles Williams in Sept. of 1967, he died in Sept. of 1968. Edna worked as a pastry cook in many area restaurants. She was employed by Peerless Chain Company for many years, retiring in 1983. Edna was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona. She was a very caring and giving person. Edna was devoted to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. Edna is survived by 2 sons: James (Ellie) Campbell, and Lee (Donna) Campbell, both of Winona; one daughter, Audrey (Melroy) Pooker of Payne, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Archie Campbell and Charles Williams; parents; two sons: Lavern and Dale Campbell; one daughter, June Summers; and three brothers: Edward, Ralph, and Arthur Dionsysious. At Edna's request, her body will be cremated with a private family graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona. The family prefers memorials to be directed to the American Cancer Society. Hoff Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Hansen Tribute Center of Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements.
