Edmund Deloin Virock, 70, of Houston died Friday February 29, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester. Ed was born January 5, 1938 in LaCrosse to Deloin and Adeline (Norton) Virock. He served his country in the US Navy from 1956-1960. Ed married Janice Todd and they later divorced. He worked for John Deere Co. of Waterloo, IA for many years, retiring from John Deere in 1992. Ed loved hunting, fishing, boating, bowling, playing pool and pinnacle. He is survived by two children, Tesha Hardy of Houston and Darin Virock of Fredericksburg, IA, four grandchildren, Zach, Mitch, Broc and Justin Tyler, four brothers; Terry (Joan) Virock of Houston, Jacob (Terre) Virock of Winona, Scott (Cindy) Virock of Winona and Shawn (Teri) Virock of Brownsville, two sisters, Marcy (Tom) Zenanko of Shakopee and Nancy Mathews of Houston. Further survivors include several nieces and nephews and very good friends, Ozzie Twite and Kathy Rogich of Caledonia. Memorial Services will be 11AM Tuesday at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston with Rev. Louise Stromberg officiating. Burial of Ed's cremated body will follow in Silver Creek Cemetery, rural Houston. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Monday at Hoff Funeral Home, Houston.
