Edgar A. Feine

RUSHFORD, MINN. - Edgar "Pete" A. Feine, 68, of Rushford died on Monday, June 18, 2007, at Gundersen - Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wis. He was born on April 20, 1939, in Rushford to Alfonse A. and Emma (Nietzke) Feine. He was raised in Hart, Minn. on his family's farm. He attended Rushford High School. On August 25, 1956, he married Carol Erdmann in Hart. He farmed on the family farm until 1971, when he moved to Rushford. Pete worked for Minnesota Farm Builders, worked construction on his own, and drove truck for Lewiston Feed and Produce until his retirement in 2005. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Rushford. Pete enjoyed camping, fishing with his sons, hunting at Walters, and spending time with his friends and family. Pete's family was the center of his life. He is survived by his wife: Carol; two sons: Jeffrey (Red) Feine of Caledonia, Minn. and Kevin (Beth) Feine of Lewiston, Minn.; one daughter: Kimberley (Douglas) Pagel of Albert Lea, Minn.; eight grandchildren: Josh, Jenna, Justine, Stephanie, Dalton, Michele, Jeremiah and Shauna; five great-grandchildren: Isabel, Isaiah, Justin, Brianna and Emma; two sisters: Helen (Robert) Evenson and Carol Wilson both of Rushford. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Janice and LaValle, and one brother-in-law, Harvey. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hart, Minn. with the Rev. David Preuss officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Hart. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hoff Funeral Homes - Rushford Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
