Ed Ebertowski

Winona, Edward "Ed" Ebertowski, 75,of Winona died Monday January 19, 2004 at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. Ed was born July 21, 1928 in Winona to Edward and Esther (Joswick) Ebertowski. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. On August 3, 1954 Ed and Helen Grant were married in Winona. He worked at Trane Co. in LaCrosse as a professional welder for 35 years. He was also a carpenter and a handyman; he could fix anything. Ed was a member of Living Light Church in Winona.Ed was devoted to his family. He was a provider and protector, and had a special love for all of his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Helen, three children, Linda Ebertowski; Debbie (Steve) Bauer and Doug (Kristi) Ebertowski, all of Winona, five grandchildren Brooke, Shay, Cole, Drew and Clay; eight siblings, Dorothy (Gene) Zabinski of Trempealeau, WI; Betty Lubinski of Winona; Lorraine Woods of Leonard, Kansas; Patty (Joe) Young of Mt. Vernon, TX; Donald Ebertowski of Winona; Judy Poteet of Winona; Carol Voelker of Winona and Jerry (Rhonda) Ebertowski of Burnsville. A brother Bill and his parents preceded him in death.Funeral Services will be 11AM Friday at Living Light Church with Pastors Doug Ebertowski and Sonny Misar officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at Living Light Church from 4-7 PM Thursday and 10 AM until time of services Friday.
