Dwayne Marlow Anderson, 68, of Houston, MN died Monday evening, July 20, 2020 at Valley View Healthcare & Rehab in Houston. Dwayne was born November 4, 1951 in La Crosse, WI to Marlow and Gloria (Haupt) Anderson. Dwayne graduated from Houston High School in 1971. He helped on the family farm; he enjoyed milking cows and bailing hay and was "elected" as the bulk tank washer. Dwayne also worked for TRW in Rushford for over 30 years after graduating from high school, until the plant closed in 2007. He always had a good sense of humor and was ready to greet you with a funny joke. He loved helping others. In his free time, Dwayne enjoyed playing cards, board games, solitaire on the computer, puzzles, and camping. Dwayne especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his four siblings, Steve Anderson of Winona, Gary Anderson of Houston, Cheryl Stutzka of Winona and Janell (Jeff) Kruckow of Houston; nieces & nephews, Jaclyn (Rustin), Nicole, Justine (Dylan), Derek, Jessica (Roth), Brooke (Amber) and Janessa; great-nieces & -nephews, Taya, Jadin, Jacob, Emma, Alexis, Sawyer, Jaxtin, Waylan and Ryker. Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents, Marlow & Gloria Anderson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Looney Valley Lutheran Church in rural Houston with Pastor Kari Charboneau officiating. Burial will follow in Swede Bottom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Please view Dwayne's video tribute at
