Dorothy Marie Pulchinski

Lewiston, Dorothy M. Pulchinski, 89, of Lewiston died Saturday, December 9, 2006, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona. Dorothy was born May 25, 1917, at Oak Ridge in Winona County to John and Mary (Hayertz) Siebenaler. She and Roman Pulchinski were married on June 9, 1943, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone. They lived in Winona County their entire married life. Dorothy was a farm homemaker and did housework for many families in the Oak Ridge area. She has lived in Lewiston for many years, including the Speltz Senior Assisted Living before entering St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona last year. Dorothy enjoyed baking (especially cinnamon rolls, coffeecakes, pinwheels and Christmas cutouts), putting puzzles together and playing cards. She had received the Kwik Trip volunteer award for clipping an infinite number of soup labels, counting milk caps and Moola strips in support of Lewiston -Altura Schools. Survivors include a son, George (Linda) Pulchinski of Austin, a daughter, Darlene M. (Dennis) Troke of Goodview, a son-in-law, John Beech of Utica, eight grandchildren: Adam and Bethany Pulchinski, Jason (Kristen) Beech, Holly (Matt) Kreidermacher, Emily Beech, Sarah Beech, Deb (Matt) Rudnik and Doug (Angie Zaborowski) Troke, seven great-grandchildren: Ethan and Gavin Beech, Dustin and Tyler Kreidermacher, Imogen Beech and Alex and Ben Rudnik, and a sister-in-law, Lillian Siebenaler of Winona. She was preceded by her husband, Roman, on September 4, 1993, a daughter, Rosemary Beech, on May 19, 2002, and by two brothers and three sisters. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Lewiston with the Reverends Marreddy Pothireddy and James Hennessy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery at Oak Ridge. Friends may call from 4-8 pm Wednesday at Hoff Funeral Home-Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services on Thursday at the church. There will be a 7:00 pm Prayer Service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
