Dorothy Katherine (Clobes) Ulrich

Winona, MN Dorothy Katherine (Clobes) Ulrich, 85, formerly of Lewiston, MN, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at St. Anne's Extended Healthcare in Winona, MN. Dorothy was born October 5, 1923 in Nicollet County, MN to Otto and Mary (Maidl) Clobes. On February 9, 1948, she married Mitchell "Mike" Ulrich in Nicollet County. They lived in the Hector, MN area until 1965 when they moved to the Lewiston area. Dorothy worked at Rush Products for 13 years until she retired. She took care of Mike until his passing on May 3, 1987. In 1990 she moved to Winona. Dorothy enjoyed going for walks, baking cookies, canning, and listening to music. Survivors include many nieces, nephews and their families. Her parents, husband Mike, seven brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death. The Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Immanuel Lutheran Church-Silo in rural Lewiston, MN with the Reverend William Meilner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00am-1:00pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church-Silo on Saturday, March 14. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to St. Anne's Extended Healthcare and Immanuel Lutheran Church-Silo.
