Dorothy E. Hughes

Dorothy E. Hughes, 85, of St. Charles died Tuesday January 16, 2007 at St. Anne's Extended Healthcare in Winona. She was born March 27, 1921 in Crown Point, New York to John and Delema (Dezalia) Ploof. Dorothy made her home in Arizona from 1960 until moving to St. Charles in January of 2001. She entered St. Anne's Extended Healthcare in September of 2006. Survivors include two daughters Roberta "Bobbie" (Deacon Leonard) Fuller of St. Charles and Brenda Fuller of Portland, Oregon, four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. There will be a Memorial Mass at 11AM Friday, January 19th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Most Reverend Bernard Harrington and the Reverend James Callahan co-celebrating. Spring burial will be at Valley View Cemetery, South Ticonderoga, NY. In leu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to Camp Amanda.
