Donald Robert Wilson

Donald Robert Wilson, 93, of McPherson, Kansas and formerly of Lewiston, died Tuesday October 31, 2006 at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. Don was born October 6, 1913 in Utica to Edson Winston and Alice Elizabeth (Frisby) Wilson. He graduated from St. Charles High School in 1931. He then attended the University of Minnesota. Donald was first married to Ruby W. Whetstone on November 4, 1950. She died May 28, 1958. He then married Kate Schmidt Cezar on February 18, 1967. She died in May of 1978. He married Martha Lavina Wirt on June 12, 1982 in Lewiston. She died June 25, 1995. He then married Virginia Messerschmidt on November 12, 1996. She died April 4, 1999. Don was a farmer. He also worked for four years as a custodian at Lewiston Schools. He was a member of The Lewiston Church of the Brethren. Survivors include a step-daughter Margaret Hill of Mora, MN, 2 step-sons Philip Radatz of Galva, KS and Nino Cezar of Minneapolis, eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; Ruby, Kate, Martha and Virginia. Funeral Services will be 2PM Monday at The Lewiston Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Sunday at Hoff Funeral Home's - Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services on Monday at the church. A reception will follow services.
