Dolores "Dee" Mae Czaplewski, 83, of Fountain City, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Marinuka Manor in Galesville surrounded by her loving family.Dee was born on December 11, 1928 in St. Paul to Richard and Julia (Ryan) Moe. Dolores relocated to Winona and graduated from Cotter High School in 1948. Shortly after, Dee was united in marriage to Arthur "Art" Czaplewski at St. Joseph's Church in Winona. In 1956, Dee and Art moved to Las Vegas with their children. There, Dolores worked as a cashier in the casino and was very proud of her career. Her family also lived in Lake Tahoe briefly before settling in Fountain City. Dolores enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and watching the Green Bay Packers. She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Arthur Czaplewski of Fountain City; children, Andy Czaplewski, Julie (Judy Crosswhite) Hollands, Roxie (Gaylord Hilton) Kaiser, Wilma Jean (Richard) Worthington, Kevin (Colleen Kelly) Czaplewski, and Doug (Julie) Czaplewski; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; in-laws, Ralph (Querine) Czaplewski and Carol Czaplewski. Dee was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janice Lynn; sisters, Ethel Kriesel, Shirley Hagland, and Marge Varner.Honorary bearers are Andrea Rozar, Jeremy Hollands, Sr., Tonia Williams, Ben Worthington, Mike Czaplewski and Adam Czaplewski.A Celebration of Dee's Life will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 2:00 pm at the Town of Buffalo Park located in Bluff Siding, WI.
