Diane Mae Wise

Diane Mae Wise, 67, died Monday, May 15, 2006, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI. Diane was born September 10, 1938 in Winona, MN to Walter and Bernice (Dorn) Alm. She married Joseph R. Wise in Winona, MN on December 27, 1958. Diane worked as a secretary for Watkins Inc. for 43 years retiring in December 2000. Diane was a former member of McKinley United Methodist Church. Diane enjoyed shopping, reading, her poodles, Puffy, Peaches, Missy and Gi Gi, and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time on the river at their boat house.Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Joseph; two daughters, Dawn (Paul) Bronk of Minnesota City, MN and Wendy (Andy) Wise - Hort of Apple Valley, MN; grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew Wise and Alexa Hort. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 6:00pm at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Tribute Center in Goodview, MN with funeral celebrant John Wagenaar officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery.
