Dennis Keith Artrip

WINONA, MINN. - Dennis Keith Artrip, 41, of Winona died on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at his home. Dennis was born on May 20, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio to Jackie Artrip. He was raised until age 11 in Columbus, when he and his mother and grandmother moved to Safety Harbor, Fla. Dennis lived in Florida until 1997, when he moved to Winona, Minn. He did carpentry and construction work over the years. He was also a dispatcher for Economy Cab in Winona. He was a member of Island Baptist Church in Goodview. His interests included music and animals. He was also known for having a great sense of humor. Dennis is survived by his mother Jackie of Winona; his aunts and uncles: Keith and Jan Artrip of Cape Coral, Fla., and Pete and Barbie Serio of Clearwater, Fla.; cousins: Michael, Dave, John, Deanna, and Matthew; Many good friends, especially: Terry, Bob, Charlie, Sherri, and his friends at Economy Cab; and by his adopted family from Winona Arms. Dennis was preceded in death by his grandparents. There will be a memorial service for Dennis on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Island City Baptist Church in Goodview, Minn. with the Rev. Mike Toft officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
