Delores Miller

Delores Jane Miller, 85, of Houston, MN, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Valley View Health Care,

She was born August 4, 1939, the daughter of LeRoy and Helen (Solberg) Davy. She grew up in Hokah, MN, and in her teen years she moved to Minneapolis. There, she met John Bowman and was united in marriage. The couple had 3 children, Bonnie, Roxanne, and John. The couple later divorced. She was united in marriage to Robert Miller, and to this union one daughter was born, Darlene. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing card and board games, fishing, watching wrestling and gameshows, and taking trips to the casino. She loved visiting with family members. 

Delores is survived by her children: Bonnie Scarbrough, John Bowman, and Roxanne McCrimon; grandchildren: Michael, Cherrelle, Barrington, Arking; siblings: Beverly Davy, Rosemary Kueker, Ruth (Skip) Kempter, Donald Davy, Laura Cephas, John (Emi) Davy, Sharon (Larry) Gamer, and Jimmy Davy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Miller; daughter, Darlene Bowman; granddaughter, Michelle; and brothers, Harvey and Tommy Davy.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 6, 2024, at 12:00pm at Hoff Funeral Home in Houston, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
