Delaine B. Scheck

Delaine B. Scheck, 62, of Houston, Minn. passed away suddenly at Gunderson - Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, Wis. Delaine was born on March 3, 1944, in LaCrosse, Wis. to Walter and Louise (Lassen) Gady. She was raised in Nodine, Minn. On September 21, 1963, she married Ronald Scheck at St. John's Lutheran Church at Nodine. Delaine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifetime partner with her husband and sons in their dairy operation at South Ridge. Delaine was a very caring person who was always there to help those in need. She was an avid gardener and an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Nodine. She is survived by her husband: Ronald; seven children: Deborah Frye of Caledonia, Minn., Connie Scheck, Eric (Jennifer) Scheck, Vicki (Randy) Hongerholt, Darron (Teresa) Scheck, Becky (Richard) Carr, and Travis (Nicole) Scheck all of Houston, Minn.; 22 grandchildren: Alanna, Samantha, Matthew, Laura, Benjamin, Ethan, Elliott, Evan, Elijah, Joseph, Jacob, Joshua, James, Miranda, Mikayla, Macormic, Hayley, Lilly, Julia, Madelyn, Samantha, and Sophia; one brother: Marlin (Anita) Gady of Dakota, Minn.; three sisters: Marlene Bahler, Irene (Ken) Boldt, and Sharon (Jerome) Unnasch, all of Houston, Minn.; one brother-in-law: John Rossin of Winona, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Carol Rossin.
