Deborah Ann Clements, 61 of Pace, FL, formerly of Goodview, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the University of Alabama - Birmingham hospital. Debbie was born October 5, 1953 in Rochester to Ronald and Lois (Emmons) Schacht. She graduated from Winona Senior High. On June 8, 1974 she married Gregory "Chief" Clements at Goodview Trinity Lutheran Church. Debbie was a devoted Navy wife of over 20 years, supporting her husband throughout his career and many moves around the country. Debbie enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother, doting grandmother and a favorite aunt. She loved children and she ran a daycare business for many years. If you couldn't find Debbie, just look for a group of kids, she would be among them playing. She was an upbeat and fun-loving person with an infectious giggle. Debbie loved life and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed fishing at the family boathouse on the Mississippi as well as deep sea fishing off the Gulf Coast of Florida. She loved camping and had the best group of camping friends who were like family. She also enjoyed going to NASCAR races, cheering for the Vikings, 4-wheeling and scooter riding. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.She is survived by her mother, Lois Schacht; two children, Kateri (Ricky) Holcomb and Justin (Ednalyn) Clements; grandchildren, Brittany, Michelle, Brandon, Jenalyn, Sydney, Hunter and Kristin; two brothers, Randy (Crystal) Schacht and Kevin (Lynn) Schacht; nieces and nephews, Amie, Derek, Nicolas, Lindsay, Jamie and Marshalla and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Lila Clements. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory "Chief" Clements and her father, Ronald Schacht.Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, led by Funeral Celebrant Jenny Hoff. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
