St. Charles Darlene L. Keller, 73, of St. Charles died Monday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Darlene was born July 25, 1929 in Winona County to Albert and Minnie (Bublitz) Senrick. She and Theodore Robert “Ted” Keller were married December 26, 1945 in Winona. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in St. Charles Township, Winona County. Following her husbands death on February 18, 1995 she moved from the family farm. She later moved to Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles, where she resided for 7 years. Darlene enjoyed cooking, reading and dining out with her family. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Survivors include five children, Bonnie King of Rochester; Judie Gates of Circle Pines; Vicki (Dennis) Duncan of Rochester; Rick (Melody) Keller of St. Charles and Susan (Tim) Keller-Schaefer of Rochester, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters Gladys Erdmann of Winona and Shirley Christopherson of Albert Lea. In addition to her husband Ted a brother Alton Senrick and a sister LaVerne Rupprecht have preceded her in death. There will be a Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Rev. James Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday and 9-10 AM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home’s – St. Charles Chapel. There will be a Rosary recited at 4:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, St. Charles Volunteer Ambulance and Whitewater Healthcare Center activities program.
