HOFF FUNERAL HOMES - HOUSTON CHAPEL 507-896-3127 HOUSTON, MINN. - Darlene A. Ledebuhr, 86, of Houston, Minn. died on Wednesday, February 10, at the Onalaska Care Center in Onalaska, Wis. Darlene was born on September 14, 1923, in Viroqua, Wis. to Cy and Willia "Bea" (Armstrong) Hanson. She was raised in the Houston area. On September 15, 1945, she married Ervin W. Ledebuhr in Houston. Darlene and Ervin farmed for many years in the Houston area. She worked as a Nurse Assistant at St. Francis Hospital Pediatric Unit in LaCrosse, Wis. Darlene and Ervin moved to Canistota, SD where they owned and operated a Hotel for three years. Following that Darlene moved to Onalaska, Wis. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the center of her life. Darlene was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston. She is survived by two children: Barbara (Thomas) Baertsch of Onalaska, Wis. and Larry (Carmel) Ledebuhr of Houston, Minn.; six grandchildren: Wendy (Dave) Sather, Cindi (Dave) Sandvick, Tammy Holland, Kari (Mark) Lee, Andrea and Mark Ledebuhr; eleven great-grandchildren: Nick, Austin, Alexis, Chase and Arianna Sather, Nathan and Morgan Sandvick, Jeremy Holland, Ashley Elsen, Dalton and Tayler Lee; two step-brothers: Freddy and Bennie Frickson; one step-sister, Norma Frank; and two sisters-in-law: Irene Hanson and Shirley Frickson. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Kermit Hanson, and one step-brother, Richard Frickson. There will be a memorial service for Darlene at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston with the Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Burial will be at the Money Creek Cemetery at a later date.
