Winona, MNCyrus Lynn Hunter, 22, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at his home in Winona, MN. Cyrus was born December 26, 1989, in Winona, MN, to Warren "Lenny" and Sandi (Klettenberg) Hunter. Cyrus was homeschooled and attended S.E. Technical College where he served in the student senate. Cyrus worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Anne Extended Health Care. Cyrus deeply loved working and caring for the residents at St. Anne's. He also had worked for the Winona public school district's after school Key Kids program, which often became the high light of his day. Cyrus was a social person who touched many lives. He enjoyed visiting with family and a multitude of friends. He also enjoyed being outdoors, especially hiking and hunting with family and neighbors. Cyrus was very creative which was expressed in his personal style and in his home.Mourning his loss is his parents, Lenny and Sandi Hunter of Houston, MN; brothers, Nelson (Tanya) Harris of Charlotte, NC, and Samual Hunter of Houston, MN; sister, Averi Hunter of Houston, MN; uncles, Rick Hunter of Bethesda, MD, Tom Hunter of Crisfield, MD, Larry (MaryAnne) Hunter of Gettysburg, PA, Claude Hunter of Moorefield, WV, and Chuck Klettenberg of Maple Grove, MN; and paternal grandmother, Florence S. Hunter of Crisfield, MD.A celebration of life in honor of Cyrus will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 27th, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service - Hansen Goodview Chapel with funeral celebrant Jenny Hoff officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30am until the time of service. A reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.
