Curtis Andrew Fix

Dover,Curtis Andrew Fix, 80, of Dover died Friday, May 7, 2010 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. Curt was born July 27, 1929 in Winona County to Andrew and Fern (Marks) Fix. He graduated from Dover School in 1947 and married Marge Eide on August 18, 1951 in Chatfield. Curt worked for IBM of Rochester as a Quality Auditor until his retirement in 1987. He had served on Dover City Council, was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club, St. Charles Moose Lodge #1114, and the Dover United Methodist Church. Curt enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan. Survivors include his wife Marge, three children; Vicki (Darrell) Koehler of Dover, Terry (Deanna) Fix of Grand Junction, CO and Britt (Tonia) Fix of Chatfield, six grandchildren; Jason and Josh Koehler, Chase & Justin Fix; Brianna Dobbs and Danielle Call, eight great-grandchildren; Jayden, Delaney, Layken and Cadence Koehler, Kauri & Soren Dobbs, Morgan and Hadli Call, three brothers; Wayne (Jan), Lester and Ron Fix all of St. Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenneth. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Dover United Methodist Church with The Reverend Heather E. Klason officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Dover. Friends may call from 4-8PM Wednesday, May 12 at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service in St. Charles. They may also call one hour before services at the church. A reception will follow services at the Dover Fire Hall. Memorials are suggested to Dover United Methodist Church, Evergreen Cemetery, and the American Cancer Society.
