Curt Siebenaler

St. Charles,Curt Siebenaler, 73, of St. Charles died Thursday October 20, 2011 at his home. Curt was born in Utica on December 13, 1937 to Leonard and Veneta (Michael) Siebenaler and was raised in the St. Charles area. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Curt married Mary Ann Lehnertz and they later divorced. Curt and Judy Frederick were married on April 26, 1991 in Rochester. He worked for the Minnesota Department of Transportation as a truck driver, retiring in 2000. Curt enjoyed mechanics and woodworking and was meticulous in completing his projects. He also enjoyed going to thrashing bees and auctions as well as spending time with his Amish friends. Curt had a lot of fun playing his practical jokes on family and friends. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Judy, three children; Deb (Craig) Morrow of Apache Junction, AZ, Mike (Sarah) Siebenaler of St. Charles and Matt (Jenny) Siebenaler of Kasson, three step-children; Kelly (Steve) Clitty and Christine Frederick both of Stacy, MN and Earl Frederick of Faribault, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister Dianne (Gary) Ruehling of Grants Pass, OR and two aunts, Bernice Prudoehl and Dorothy Munz, both of St. Charles. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Delores Maier. A Funeral Mass will be 2 PM Sunday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the Reverend Kurt Farrell officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1 PM until the time of services. In accordance with Curt's wishes his body will be donated to the Mayo Clinic Anatomical Bequest Program.
