Winona, MNCorrine E. Noonan, 82, passed away on March12, 2009 at her home in Winona, Minnesota. Corrine was born February 5, 1927 in Superior, Wisconsin to Alec and Hannah (Bodin) McLeod. Corrine married Donald Sauers in 1946. They later divorced. She married Harry Noonan in 1960 who preceded her in death. Corrine worked for many years for Trane Co. in LaCrosse Wisconsin. After retirement, Corrine spent her time volunteering for Meals on Wheels, Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce, Treasure's Galore, St. Anne's Hospice, Catholic Charities RSVP program and Winona Senior Center. She was a member of the group that performed the skit "How Old is Old" for high school students, she was a member of Sweet Adelines, Eastern Star, Eagles and the McLeod Clan of Lewis. She was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir which brought her great joy. Corrine is survived by three daughters: Donna Sauers, Linda (Sauers) Bradford, Carol (Noonan) Thacker and one son, Harry Bruce Noonan, 13 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and one sister, Shirley Sauers. She was dearly loved by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, four sisters: Alice, Lucille, Florence and Marion, one brother Eugene and great granddaughter Brittany Bradford.A memorial service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church on March 19th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Winona, MN. Internment will be held at 1:00, Saturday March 21, 2009 at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior Wisconsin. The family suggests that memorials may be directed to Grace Presbyterian Church.
