Constance R. Johnson

Peterson, MN Connie R. Johnson Constance "Connie" R. Johnson, 66, of Peterson, MN died Monday, April 28, 2008 at her home. Connie was born on September 29, 1941 in Cresco, IA to Lloyd and Mildred (Bigalk) Eberling. She was raised in Cresco and graduated from Cresco High School in 1960. She attended Waldorf College in Forest City. On September 22, 1962, Connie married Glen Johnson in Cresco, IA. Together they lived in rural Peterson. She worked at Peterson School as a Dietary Aide, then worked at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home as a housekeeper as well as working with Glen on the farm. She was a member of Highland Prairie Lutheran Church, the church's circle, was a Sunday school teacher and past president of the Ladies Aide. Connie loved her grandchildren, flower gardening, vacationing, and traveling with her family. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 45 ½ years Glen; mother Mildred Eberling of Stewartville, MN; son Bruce Johnson of Minneapolis, MN; three daughters, Marcia (Brian) Ferson of Stewartville, MN, Linda (Bruce) Noack of Maple Plain, MN, and Janell (Dan) Schefers of Rochester, MN; seven grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and one aunt Lucile Floyd of Iowa City, IA. Connie is preceded in death by her father Lloyd. The Funeral Service for Connie will be held at 2PM on Friday, May 2, 2008 at Highland Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Peterson, MN with the Reverend Wade E. Davick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8pm on Thursday, May 1 at Hoff Funeral Home - Rushford Chapel and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
